The train line links Fuengirola to the resorts on the west of the Costa del Sol and Malaga via the airport. It also has a bus station where buses run not only around Fuengirola but to Malaga, via the airport, Benalmadena and Torremolinos. There is a good service that links the resorts to the east also, taking in Marbella, Estepona and Algeciras near Gibraltar along the way.
